Limited Lifetime Warranty

The products of Golf Clubs Ltd carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, as follows:
• Defective or broken golf club components arising during this lifetime period will be repaired or comparably replaced at the expense of Golf Club Ltd (see conditions and limitations below)..
• In addition, for a period of one full year from date of purchase, Golf Clubs Ltd will bear the shipping and handling costs related to the return of products under the Limited Lifetime Warranty. Golf Clubs Ltd will reimburse purchaser for Priority® postage necessary to send warranty return club(s) back to GCL during this first full year period.
• After the one full year period has elapsed and for a period from the 2nd full year through the 5th full year after original purchase, purchaser shall bear all shipping and handling costs related to the return of products under the Limited Lifetime Warranty.
• After the five full years from the date of original purchase period has elapsed and for the duration of the Limited Lifetime Warranty, the purchaser shall bear all shipping and handling costs plus a labor charge of $10 per item returned under the terms of the Limited Lifetime Warranty.
• Golf Clubs Ltd reserves the right to inspect all products returned under its Limited Lifetime Warranty to determine the extent to which the terms of the Warranty shall apply. The Warranty covers defects and breakage arising from normal play in ordinary conditions. For example, it does not cover ‘close encounters with tee markers and cart paths’, ‘being run over by a golf cart’, ‘being broken over one’s knee’, ‘getting up close and personal with a tree’, ‘rusting after being tossed into a water hazard’, ‘hitting the ball with the crown of the club instead of its face’, etc.
• Exclusions: Normal and expected wear that golf clubs undergo in the course of ordinary playing conditions such as grip wear, fading or rubbing off of graphite shaft graphics and logos, ball strike marks on club faces, etc.
• Golf Clubs Ltd does not warrant playability.
• Rights and privileges arising from the Limited Lifetime Warranty accrue to the original purchaser only and proof of purchase is required.
• Purchaser must contact Golf Clubs Ltd to arrange for warranty return before damaged or defective product is delivered back to GCL.

30 Day No-Risk Trial

Golf Clubs Ltd guarantees you will be satisfied with your new club(s) and offers a 30 Day No Risk Trial to back it up. Specifically, this policy offers a refund on any standard order and an on-site credit on any upgraded order. Upgrade is defined as an order that includes premium shafts and/or premium or oversize grips. Money back refunds and on-site credits consist of your original purchase amount minus delivery charges.

• Our 30 Day No Risk Trial policy allows you to receive your golf clubs, try them out on the course or practice range for a period of 30 days after Golf Clubs Ltd has delivered them to you.
• At the end of the 30 Day No Risk Trial period, if you are not satisfied with them, you can send them back to us and receive a full refund or on-site credit in the amount of your purchase price minus delivery charges.
• To return clubs under the 30 Day No Risk Trial policy, call us on our toll free number or email us through the ‘Contact Us’ section of GolfClubsLtd.com. We will need your delivery name and address, the club(s) you are returning and the reason for the return. We will give you further instructions to arrange and complete your return. Purchaser will be responsible for delivery cost to return club(s).
• Please note that the club(s) must be in good condition when they’re returned. Normal wear from typical play conditions is expected and acceptable.
• We reserve the right to refuse to accept returns on clubs that we deem to have sustained damages not in the ordinary course of play.  See the examples of unacceptable returns listed in the Warranty section above for the types of club damage we will not take back.

It’s easy to order your new golf club or set from Golf Clubs Ltd. You can place your order in one of the following ways, whichever you find most comfortable:

• You can order directly on the web site through the ‘Add to Cart’ feature where you can select your model and specifications on the drop-down menu’s you find there along with your shipping and payment information. Our web site is secure for your credit card, PayPal and personal information. (See more on Security below.)

• You can order through email by clicking on the Contact Us section you see at the top of any GolfClubsLtd.com web page. Tell us what club or set you’re interested in along with your specifications. You can include your shipping information in your email as well. (Please note that it’s not advisable to include your credit card or PayPal information in your email because email is not secure. Instead, call us with your credit card or PayPal information on our toll fee phone number - 1.877.573.3121. Or, you can fax it to us at 1.513.474.2342.)

• You can also order over the phone by calling Golf Clubs Ltd on our toll free phone number (1.877.573.3121). This way, you can discuss your order with us in detail and at length, and provide us with your shipping and payment information in the process.

• You can fax your order to us by including all the pertinent information mentioned above. Our fax number is 513.474.2342.

• Ohio Sales Tax applies to Ohio residents and Ohio shipping destinations as well as orders that are picked up by customers at Golf Clubs Ltd.
 

• GolfClubsLtd.com is a secure web site that protects your payment and shipping information against unwelcome scrutiny and intrusion. Security is provided by Microsoft® Commerce Manager® software. Also, your payment and personal information is kept private and confidential, and is never divulged or sold under any circumstances.

• You can stop your order right up to the time that we actually assemble your club or set. We understand that people can have second thoughts or perhaps be unsure about choosing between model A and model B. For example, if you’re in the middle of the ‘Add to Cart’ process and you want to think about it some more before you actually place the order, just click on the 'Remove' link to the left of the product and your order is cancelled.  Or, if you change your mind after you’ve completed and submitted your order, please call us right away on our toll free number (1.877.573.3121) to give us a chance to stop your order before its assembled.

• Once we’ve assembled your club or set, it becomes a bit more difficult to unwind things but we’ll work with you as best we can to do just that. If your order is for standard specifications, we can probably back off your order with no cost to you because we can likely fill a subsequent order with your club(s) pretty quickly. However, if your order is for non-standard specs, then we will have to charge a 15% fee because your non-standard club or set likely won’t fill a subsequent order so readily.

• On the other hand, if you change your mind after your order has been shipped, then it will fall under our ‘30 Day Trial / Return’ policy which is found in our Warranty section.

• You should always feel free to email or call us to discuss your order, especially if you would like to question or clarify a particular aspect of it or if you want to add a special request to your order.

• For that matter, we want to emphasize that we invite you to email or call us with any questions or requests for additional information about anything you see on our web site. We enjoy receiving and answering questions from players who drop by, whether you’re buying or just browsing.

Delivery Process

Understandably, one of the most frequent questions we get is ‘how long will it take for me to receive my club(s)?’ The answer is 7 – 10 calendar days after you have placed your order. The time frame is broken down, as follows:

• Once we receive your order, we order in the components necessary to custom build your club or set. We almost always receive your components late afternoon or early evening the following day. On rare occasions, it has taken components 2 days to get here. We are now at 2 – 3 days after you order was placed.

• We begin to custom build your club(s) the day after we receive your components. We allow your club(s) to dry overnight. Then we cut to your specified length, turn down and polish the ferrule(s), grip your club(s) with your selected grip(s) and apply the shaft band(s), if applicable. After we process your payment your order is boxed up for delivery. We are now at 4 – 5 days after you have placed your order.

• On the morning of the next day, we will take your order to the U.S. Post Office for delivery to you via Priority®. We are now at 5 – 6 days after you have placed your order.

• Add the 2 – 3 days it takes Priority® to get your order to you and you have received your order 7 – 9 days after you placed it.

Our delivery time is stated as 7 – 10 days to give us a little cushion to work around any unexpected delay and to accommodate the fact that the Post Office doesn’t deliver on sundays.

 



U.S. Post Office Priority® Delivery

  • Our standard delivery method is through Post Office Priority® Delivery. This does contrast with most other golf club web sites. They generally ship by Ground Class through UPS® or Fed Ex®. We consider Priority® Delivery to be a better value than UPS® or Fed Ex® Ground Class for the following reasons:

    • Priority® takes 2 – 3 days to reach you while their ground shipping methods will take 7 – 10 days.

    • Priority® doesn’t cost much more than UPS® or Fed Ex® ground shipping rates and costs less than their comparable 2 – 3 day express rate.

    • We prepay our Priority® deliveries and receive a confirmation number to track your delivery. This tracking number can be forwarded to you so you can keep track of your order, if you wish.

    • We have delivered thousands of orders over the years through Priority® and it has proven to be remarkably timely and reliable. We have seldom had an order delivered through Priority® take longer than 2 – 3 days. And we have never had an order lost or damaged through Priority®. Never. Not one.

     



Priority® Delivery Rates

Golf Clubs Ltd bases its Priority® delivery prices on weight and distance. Our shop is in Cincinnati, so deliveries to western zip codes that start with 8 or 9 carry a distance surcharge. This surcharge is $1.50 for lighter orders such as drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, wedges and putters, and $6 for heavier orders like iron sets. Our Priority® delivery price schedule is as follows:

• Titanium Drivers - $7.50 ($9 to Zip Codes that start with 8 or 9).

• Fairway Woods / Hybrids / Wedges - $7.50 for one ($9 to Zip Codes that start with 8 or 9); $10 for 2 ($11.50); $12.50 for 3 ($14); $15 for 4 ($16.50).

• Putters - $7.50 ($9 to Zip Codes that start with 8 or 9).

• Long Putters - $10 ($11.50 to Zip Codes that start with 8 or 9).

• Iron Sets - $12.50 ($18.50 to Zip Codes that start with 8 or 9).
